For me the article and video did not help me, so I figured out a different way on my own. The article didn't do much help because it mostly worked on having one center focus and removing the background around it. The video focused on other smaller aspects rather than the actual steps to construct the image. I then decided to do it myself by messing around with photoshop a little bit. I took 2 separate photos in the same spot, one with the hand in it and one without the hand in it. I then cut out the pieces of the hand that I wanted in the photo and made them as separate images. Then I took the photo without the hand in it and added the separate pieces of the hand that I cut out as separate images. After that it was just small editing details to fix the hand on the fence wiring. I think the photo turned out ok, but I think the small editing could have been better when connecting the hand to the fence.
